Members

Member management is the settings landing page. In the sidebar the entry reads „Mitglieder“ (Members), the page title „Einstellungen“ (Settings).

Owners and admins only. A member gets a "not found" page on a direct request.

The page has four blocks: an allowance notice where needed; the header „Arbeitsbereich“ (Workspace) with name and short form; the card „Mitglieder (N)“ with the table; and the card „Einladungen“ (Invitations).

The signed-in product speaks German, so its labels and messages are quoted in German throughout, with the English rendering in italics.

The table

Columns: „Name“, „E-Mail“, „Rolle“ (Role), „Seit“ (Since). Sorted by role — owners first, then admins, then members — and within a role by joining date, oldest first.

Deactivated rows carry the tag „Deaktiviert“ and are dimmed.

The action menu appears only where the action is permitted — never on your own membership, and on an owner only if you are an owner yourself.

Changing a role, deactivating, removing

Changing a role. The menu offers „Rolle: Inhaber“, „Rolle: Admin“ and „Rolle: Mitglied“ — without the current one. For a deactivated member no role is offered; it has to be reactivated first.

„Deaktivieren“ and „Reaktivieren“ are the same entry, its label following the state.

„Entfernen“ (Remove) is the only action with a confirmation. The dialog „Mitglied entfernen“ names both consequences:

Name wird dauerhaft aus dem Arbeitsbereich entfernt. Eine Rückkehr ist nur über eine neue Einladung möglich. Hochgeladene Assets bleiben erhalten.

Name will be permanently removed from the workspace. Returning is only possible through a new invitation. Uploaded assets are preserved.

Afterwards the page reports „Mitglied reaktiviert.“, „Mitglied deaktiviert.“, „Mitglied entfernt.“ or „Rolle geändert zu …“, and the table shows the new state at once.

The change takes effect on the next request. Anyone without an active membership lands on a „Kein Zugang“ (No access) page.

Inviting

Enter an address, pick a role, „Einladen“ (Invite). Only „Mitglied“ and „Admin“ are offered — the owner role cannot be granted by invitation. The address is lower-cased, and the invitation is valid for seven days.

An email is only sent to addresses without an existing account. If the address already has one — in any workspace — none is sent.

The invitation link stands below the form in both cases — the same link the mail carries. Where no mail arrives, you pass it on by hand.

Anyone inviting in quick succession is briefly held back: „Zu viele Versuche in kurzer Zeit. Bitte einen Moment warten und es erneut versuchen.“ (Too many attempts in a short time. Please wait a moment and try again.)

Open invitations

They are listed below, each with role and expiry date, „Link kopieren“ (Copy link) and a two-step „Widerrufen“ (Revoke). Only invitations that are open and not yet expired are shown — expired ones disappear by themselves.

Creating and revoking appear in the audit trail.

When no seat is free

Then the invite form does not appear. In its place stands a notice in one of two versions:

• More than one active member: „Alle gebuchten Sitzplätze sind belegt.“ (All booked seats are taken.) with both ways out — deactivate somebody, or extend the allowance.
• Exactly one active member: only the allowance route.

If a seat is taken between page load and submit, the invitation still fails on submit. The refusal then appears as a card with the figures.

When an action is refused

These sentences reach you as a message:

Der letzte aktive Inhaber ist geschützt (nicht degradieren, deaktivieren oder entfernen).

The last active owner is protected (do not demote, deactivate or remove).

Du kannst deine eigene Mitgliedschaft nicht ändern.

You cannot change your own membership.

Die Rolle eines deaktivierten Mitglieds kann nicht geändert werden — bitte zuerst reaktivieren.

A deactivated member's role cannot be changed — please reactivate first.

Nur ein Inhaber darf einen Inhaber oder die Inhaber-Rolle verwalten.

Only an owner may manage an owner or the owner role.

Keine Berechtigung für die Mitgliederverwaltung.

No permission for member management.

The protection of the last active owner means three paths at once: demoting, deactivating and removing each check whether an active owner would remain.

Changing a role to the one already set changes nothing and reports no error.
