Help
Where the answers are, and how to reach us.
This group is for looking things up. It answers two questions: what the sentence currently on your screen means — and why a file or a browser behaves differently from what you expected.
The signed-in product speaks German, so its messages are quoted in German throughout this group, with the English rendering in italics.
The pages in this group
- Looking up a message — the sentences verstag says to you, verbatim, with what each one means and what to do next.
- Limits at a glance — every fixed limit in the product, by area.
- Which emails verstag sends — ten templates and what triggers them.
- Requirements — browser, JavaScript, and three formats that behave differently from the rest.
- What runs in the background — which operations carry on without you, and where you see their state.
- What verstag cannot do today — six things that do not exist, with the route that works instead.
- Glossary — every term alphabetically.
How to reach us
The route to support is an e-mail to hello@verstag.io. Describe what you did and what stood on the screen afterwards — the wording of the message helps more than a summary of it.
There is no support entry point inside the application itself: no chat, no contact form, no help button. Billing carries the same address in a few places, there partly as the link „Schreib uns“ (write to us).
The check number
If an error persists, the error page carries a string of characters under the heading „PRÜF-NR“ (check no.). It belongs in the message to support, in full — it is what lets us find the incident again.
The number does not appear on every error page. Where there is none, the time it happened and the address you were on are what help.
