Library

How the library is laid out — assets, folders, unfiled and the trash.

The library — „Library“ in the sidebar — is your workspace’s holdings. Everything uploaded, or taken over from a check, sits here: with its verification result, its folders, and whatever was produced from it.

The signed-in product speaks German, so the labels on screen are quoted in German below, with the English rendering in italics.

An asset and a file

A file is what you upload or download. An asset is the entry the library creates from it — with its verification result, its location, and the outputs produced from it later.

One asset can hold several files: the original stays as it arrived, and every output produced from it is a separate file belonging to the same asset.

The four views

The sidebar offers four ways into the same holdings:

  • „Alle“ (All) — every live asset in the workspace.
  • „Unsortiert“ (Unfiled) — the assets that sit in no folder.
  • A folder — the contents of that one folder.
  • „Papierkorb“ (Trash) — what has been deleted and can still be brought back.

The upload area sits above each of these views, and the same filter state applies in each. The trash has neither filters nor search.

The order

The grid shows the newest assets first — by the moment the entry was created, not by the date the file was taken and not by filename. There is no sort order to choose.

To find one particular file, search for its name or narrow the list with the filters.

On these pages

  • Uploading files — the two routes, the folder rule, and the limits an upload fails at.
  • Finding something again — search and the four filters.
  • Formats — what can be uploaded and what can be checked.
  • Folders — creating, renaming, deleting, and moving assets between them. Folders are flat.
  • Trash — the 30 days and deleting for good.

And the editor, which you open from an asset:

The templates behind them — formats, label families and defaults — live in the settings.
